Aquaria KLCC

 

Located in KL Convention Centre, Aquaria KLCC is a place where underwater world is marvelously displayed in city of Kuala Lumpur. It is a place worth discovering, its like a walk through the tropical rainforests. showcasing some of the most entrancing aquatic creatures from all parts of the world.

The park is sprawled in 60,000 sq ft (6,000 mē) of area in two levels. One can reach here through the underground interlink from Suria KLCC. 

This huge aquarium features a 90-metre long underwater tunnel, a 10-ft long colossal Arapamia, a touch pool and one Aqua Theatre. Throughout the journey, you can stop at anytime to examine the living creatures and their habitat. At the Touch Pool, you'll actually get to touch baby sharks and stingrays. KL Aquaria, the 90m long acrylic tunnel, marks the climax of this exciting journey where brilliant view of ocean is presented.

 

 

This 55mm-thick tunnel is curved and made to endure the enormous pressure of 2.7 million liters of water.

Central Market

Pasar Seni or Pasar Budaya,  is actually one of the main attractions in Kuala Lumpur. This indoor marketplace is housed in an old building that was built by the British, in 1888. Earlier it used to be a wet market for the city inhabitants. Later it was revamped and expanded several times, now, this market is a fully-fledged cultural center in Kuala Lumpur. If you're looking to buy Malaysian arts & crafts, souvenirs t-shirts, antiques, and rare pieces of handicrafts, custom-made crafts, cultural shows, traditional performances then Central Market is the place to head for. If you need urgent cash, many money hangers and ATM machines are also close by.

 

Chinatown

Located along the Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur.  The area is known as the Petaling Street because the track from here led to the mines in the Petaling area some 17km away. Petaling Street maintains much of its traditional atmosphere, especially at night when vendors spread their wares out on the street.  Haggling is completely allowed in most outlets especially kiosks by the road side so bargain all you want or just walk away, if you are lucky you will get the price you deem fit. If you are not interested in shopping here just enjoy the bustling place by merely wandering and loitering in the area to get the feel of a small china within Kuala Lumpur.

 

Chinatown market is famous for CDs, DVDs, watches, T-shirts, garments, leather goods, jewelry and much more at unbelievable low prices.
